HONOR has begun rolling out Android 15, paired with MagicOS 9.0, for HONOR 90 users in India. The update introduces a refreshed interface and new features, emphasizing improved performance and user experience.
The company stated that MagicOS 9.0 delivers a “smoother and smarter experience” through a complete system overhaul. It incorporates the Android April 2025 security patches to enhance device protection.
Key Features of MagicOS 9.0
MagicOS 9.0 brings AI-driven tools, including AI Translate, which offers real-time interpretation for meetings and lectures with automatic language detection.
It also includes AI Notes for voice-to-text transcription across multiple languages, featuring one-click summaries, and an AI Photo Editor to extract subjects, remove unwanted elements, restore old images, and apply creative filters.
Additionally, the update provides intuitive gesture access, allowing a two-finger pinch on the home or lock screen to open a personalized space. A redesigned interface with updated icons, cards, and a modernized Control Center offers a fresh, user-friendly look.
Availability
HONOR confirmed the update, which upgrades the system to version 9.0.0.139, is now rolling out to HONOR 90 devices in India. Users can expect to receive it soon.
