Nothing has silently introduced the CMF Buds 2 for the US, Europe and UK markets, ahead of India launch on April 28th along with the Buds 2a and the Buds 2 Plus earbuds.
The CMF Buds 2 feature a sleek design with a customizable Smart Dial for volume adjustment and playback control, but the dial is not transparent. Users can customize the Smart Dial functions via the Nothing X app to manage noise cancellation, activate the Voice Assistant, switch to Low Lag Mode, and more.
The CMF Buds 2 feature a single 11 mm PMI (Polymethacrylimide) driver compared to dual drivers in the pro model, and only feature SBC and AAC codes. However, these still come with Ultra Bass Technology 2.0 and a Spatial Audio Effect.
The CMF Buds 2 features Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation up to 48 dB and support a wide frequency range up to 5200 Hz. Smart Active Noise Cancellation adjusts to reduce noise leakage, ensuring clear communication with 6 HD mics featuring Clear Voice Technology 3.0 and Wind-Noise Reduction 3.0 for enhanced call clarity.
It provides up to 55 hours of total playback time, with a quick charge of 10 minutes offering up to 7.5 hours of playback. Gaming Mode automatically activates Low Lag Mode (<110 ms latency) when paired with CMF or Nothing Phones, reducing latency by 50ms to 100ms on average, compatible with all smartphones.
Additional features include Bluetooth v5.4, touch and tap controls, Equalizers, Dual Connection, and integration with ChatGPT, accessible through the Nothing X app.
