Notion Ink Adam II tablet to come with TI OMAP processor and Android 4.0

Notion Ink has announced that they have partnered with Texas Instruments and their Adam II tablet would be powered by a OMAP44xx processor along with the TI components like Wi-Link 7.0 and Phoenix Audio Power Amplifiers. It would run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). They launched the Android 4.0 alpha ROM for the Adam earlier this week.

This processor would offer fluid multitasking with the PowerVR SGX5xx GPU and have ultra-low power consumption with the TI’s integrated power-management IC. Their current Adam tablet runs on Nvidia Tegra CPU.

They also plan to launch Modular Based Software Architecture that could be used for enable drag-and-drop application development, games and use-case flows.

Still there are no detailed specs about the display size, storage, camera, battery etc.
