Dual SIM phones have been quite popular in emerging markets and among users requiring the use of two numbers on a single handset but triple SIM phones haven’t found much of a market yet. Marketed by a few Chinese manufacturers , we’ve yet to see large scale adoption of the tech by the larger OEMs.
This is set to change as LG unveils its first triple SIM handset next month. The specs include a 2.2-inch display with a resolution of 176×220 pixels, a 1.3-megapixel camera with flashlight, and a 1500 mAh battery. It remains to be seen if the phone can actually use all SIM cards at the same time. The phone will be available in Russia starting February for approximately €75.
