HONOR 400 and HONOR 400 Pro get 6.55″ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 / 8 Gen 3, IP69 ratings, 7200mAh battery in China


HONOR just introduced the HONOR 400 series smartphones in China that have different specifications compared to the global market. Both the phones feature a 6.55″ FHD+ 120Hz OLED flat display with up to 5000 nits HDR Peak brightness.

The HONOR 400 is the first smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC instead of 7 Gen 3 in the global version. The HONOR 400 Pro retains the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. These feature a metal frame and come with IP68+IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

There are no change in the camera specs in the phones. Both the phones pack a 200MP Main Camera, equipped with a 1/1.4-inch large sensor, f/1.9 aperture, OIS + EIS dual stabilisation and a 12MP 112° Ultra-Wide camera with macro option.

The HONOR 400 Pro has a 50MP 3x telephoto camera with up to 50X Zoom and the HONOR 400 manages 30x zoom with the main camera. These pack a 50MP Portrait Selfie Camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

Compared to 5300mAh battery in the global version, these pack a 7200mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80W SuperCharge in HONOR 400 and the 90W SuperCharge fast charging in the Pro that also has 50W wireless charging.

The phones come in Sea Breeze Blue, Quicksand Pink, Moonlight Silver, and Magic Night Black colours. Pricing as follows.
