Motorola DROID 4 coming to Verizon on February 10 for $199.99



Motorola announced the DROID 4 last month for Verizon. The release date leaked earlier this week, and now Motorola has officially announced that the device would be available starting February 10 from Verizon Wireless. The Motorola DROID 4 comes with 4.0-inch qHD (940 x 540 pixels) display, five-row slide-out QWERTY keyboard and is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor. It runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and has 8-megapixel HD rear camera with 1080p and 1.3-megapixel HD front-facing camera with 720p.

Other features include, 16 GB internal memory that is expandable up to 32GB with MicroSD, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, micro USB, HDMI out. The connectivity features include, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, eCompass and aGPS. It comes with 1785 mAh Li-ion battery.

There are also accessories such as 10.1-inch Lapdock 100, 14-inch Lapdock 500 Pro with built-in webcam and Ethernet connection, HD Dock, HD Station and vehicle navigation mount that would be available separately.

The Motorola DROID 4 would be available from Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online on February 10th for $199.99 with a new 2 year customer agreement. The Lapdock 500 would be available separately from Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online for $299.97.
