Nothing Headphone (1) to launch on July 1st

London-based technology company Nothing today announced its entry into a new product category – over-ear headphones, set for July 1 launch alongside the Nothing Phone (3) flagship smartphone.

The reveal follows an appearance by CEO Carl Pei at SXSW London earlier today, where he discussed the future of smartphones, Nothing’s achievements, and community involvement.

During his closing remarks at the event, Pei confirmed the upcoming launch of Nothing Headphone (1), marking the company’s first foray into the over-ear audio market. The company already has TWS earbuds, Neckband headset and open-ear TWS earbuds, in addition to phones.

The global launch event for the headphones will be held in Nothing’s home city of London, UK. We should know more details about the Nothing Headphone (1) in the comping weeks, before it goes official next month.
