We all know that the iPad 3 is on it’s way, but there has also been loads of news going around about Apple fighting a case against a company called Proview. Proview here is saying that the rights for the brand “iPad” was reserved for them and Apple has no right to sell or take any products named iPad out of China. And because of all these problems Apple has asked Amazon to pull out iPad from the Amazon product listing in China.
Proview has already won court ruling in China, if Proview wins then Apple cannot bring iPad branded products inside China or take it out, which means no production of these devices too, this would be a real hard blow to Apple. I am assuming that this might be the cause of Apple asking Amazon to remove the listing of iPad from it’s online store. Amazon said that they were given no reasons to remove the product, it might also be that because fo the iPad 3 soon going to come, they are stopping the sales of the iPad.Anyways I hope everything settles down and both these companies are back to business again.
