Reliance Communications (Rcom) has launched Reliance CDMA Tab, their new Android tablet for their CDMA customers in India. They launched their Reliance 3G Tab last year. This tablet has 7 inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen and runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It has 512 MB RAM and a micro SD card support for external storage and comes with free 4GB SD card.
The Reliance 3G tab comes with 2.0MP camera and a VGA secondary camera, 800 MHz processor and 4000mAh battery. Other features include Mobile TV, voice calling, GPS and video recording. It comes with 1 year free subscription on McAfee Mobile Security, 2 months free subscription on BigFlix+, and Rs. 250 worth of calling on Reliance Global Call, all together valued at Rs. 2,100.
It comes with user-friendly email experience with push email capability and is bundled with ‘Documents To Go’ that supports Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PDF formats.
The Reliance CDMA tab works on Reliance’s CDMA network across 22 circles in over 1000 towns in the country and comes with attractive monthly and annual data plans.
