Apple iPhone 3GS vs iPhone 3G


Well Apple have now announced the updated version of the Apple iPhone 3G called the iPhone 3G S, the “S” stands for speed.

The handset looks almost identical to the previous model however in terms of usage, it’s nearly four times faster than before. The handset supports HSDPA upto 7.2Mbps.

The camera unit is now 3.2 Megapixel with Tap-To-Aufofocus, Macro and Auto White Balance and the added video recording at VGA 30FPS.

The battery life has been improved giving upto 5 hours of 3G talk-time and 9 hours of Wi-Fi usage. There are some other new features too:

  • Holding down the menu button activates the voice control feature which allows you to perform any function from making calls to controlling iTunes.
  • A Finger-Print Resistant Screen Coating

New and end-of-contract pricing is set at $199 for 16GB and $299 for 32GB when it goes on sale June 18th Stateside and in 80 more countries in August — and the current 8GB 3G will remain on sale for $99, effective immediately.
