SpaceXAI introduces Grok Bot AI agents for tasks across apps and websites


SpaceXAI has introduced Grok Bot, an early-beta AI agent system designed to handle tasks across apps, tools, websites, and inboxes. Each Bot has its own computer in the cloud and can continue working after the user steps away.

Bots can sign into the tools users already use, complete jobs end to end, and return to the user when approval or a decision is required. Users can message a Bot from a phone or desktop, hand off work, and continue the same conversation later.

Grok Bot

Grok Bot was initially developed as an internal prototype at SpaceXAI. The company’s teams created Bots for sales outbound, marketing campaigns, office operations, bug fixes, and other tasks.

Own computer

Each Bot operates on its own computer in the cloud. It can sign into apps, tools, and websites and work across services, including platforms without a clean API or MCP integration.

Bots can continue working when the user steps away and handle multi-step tasks without requiring the user to remain involved throughout the process.

Works across apps

SpaceXAI says its teams are using Bots for tasks across different functions, including:

  • Sales: Updates CRM records with call transcript notes and drafts follow-up messages.
  • Operations: Handles new-hire seating and processes invoices received through Gmail.
  • Engineering: Reproduces bugs in the product UI, files tickets, and hands fixes to debugging Bots.

The company also lists growth and marketing, finance, product, and community among the areas where its teams use Grok Bot.

Multiple Bots

Users can run multiple Bots in parallel, with different Bots assigned to tasks such as inbox management, expenses, recruiting, bug fixes, or operations.

Bots can independently message each other and share context in threads. When projects overlap, they can stay aligned on the same account or project without requiring users to copy information between chats.

Bots can also be placed in group chats, where they can coordinate tasks, pass work between themselves, assign ownership, and involve the user when a judgment call is required.

Learns workflows

Users can ask a Bot to follow along while they perform a task. The Bot observes the steps, remembers how the work is done, and saves the process as a routine.

It can then run the routine on its own and incorporate corrections from the user, allowing the same multi-step process to be handed off without explaining it again each time.

Retains context

Grok Bot can retain context about how users prefer work to be done. It can learn a user’s voice and account for specific edge cases when handling tasks.

Bots can also follow up on dropped threads, nudge stalled handoffs, and resume work from previous conversations. Over time, they can pick up work before being explicitly asked and identify situations that require the user’s attention.

Availability

Grok Bot is currently in beta and available on Windows and iOS for SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium subscribers, while enterprise users can join a waitlist for future access.
