CMF has announced its first speaker lineup, comprising the CMF Speaker M and CMF Speaker S. The two models differ in their audio configurations and output power.
CMF Speaker M
The CMF Speaker M features a dedicated woofer and tweeter, with each driver handling its own frequency range. Its sealed enclosure provides a controlled acoustic environment, and the speaker covers a frequency range of 60Hz to 20kHz with an output of 35W RMS.

CMF Speaker S
The CMF Speaker S features a custom-tuned 45mm driver and two passive radiators to enhance low frequencies. It covers a frequency range of 70Hz to 20kHz and delivers up to 10W RMS output.

Shared features
Both speakers support several audio modes and connectivity options.
Audio features
- Stereo Mode: Pair two identical Speaker S or Speaker M units to use them as left and right channels for a wider soundstage.
- Party Mode: Uses Auracast to synchronise multiple speakers, including compatible models from other brands, for simultaneous playback.
- Ultra Bass: Adds low-frequency output and can be switched on or off.
- Wide Soundstage: Creates a wider sense of space and separation when playing audio through a single speaker.
- Adaptive Tuning: Automatically adjusts the equaliser based on the type of music.
- Custom EQ: Includes Balanced, More Bass, More Treble and Voice presets, along with options to fine-tune the sound.
Design and durability
The speakers have a compact, upright design inspired by a milk carton and are available in white, dark grey, orange and turquoise. The front panel and volume knobs can be removed using the unlock switch on the back, allowing users to customise them. CMF also provides a guide for 3D-printing replacement panels and knobs.

Both models carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. They are designed to withstand dust, sand, rain and splashes, as well as submersion in up to 1.5 metres of water for up to 30 minutes.
Battery and charging
The speakers offer up to 18 hours of playback at 50% volume with Ultra Bass enabled. A full charge takes around three hours, while a 10-minute charge provides up to one hour of playback. Night Mode reduces overall energy and low-frequency output, limiting maximum loudness to around 60% of Standard Mode.
Connectivity
Both speakers support Bluetooth 6.0 with a connection range of over 100 metres, NFC tap-to-pair, USB-C lossless audio with latency below 60ms, and dual-device connectivity for two Bluetooth sources. They also support Fast Pair on compatible Nothing, Google and Windows devices for quick pairing and reconnection.
