Lava has announced a forthcoming price revision across its smartphone portfolio, attributing the adjustment to persistent constraints in global memory supply. According to a company statement, device prices will increase by up to ₹3,000, with the revised pricing scheduled to take effect on November 15, 2026.
The semiconductor and component supply chain has faced tightening supplies in memory modules, impacting procurement costs for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Lava stated that the adjustments reflect the broader industry environment where hardware input expenses have risen.
The announcement comes during the ongoing seasonal shopping period, where consumer electronics frequently see promotional discounting across major distribution channels. Lava noted that current inventory remains available at previously set promotional rates ahead of the deadline.
Regarding this, the company said
In the current industry environment, ongoing memory shortages have necessitated a price revision of up to ₹3,000 across our smartphone portfolio, effective 15th November, 2026.
Consumers looking to upgrade their devices have a strong opportunity at this moment, as our products are currently available at festive prices across leading e-commerce platforms and offline retail network. We would encourage customers to take advantage of the ongoing offers, before the revision comes into effect.
The revisions will apply across Lava’s retail network, encompassing both online partner platforms and offline retail outlets nationwide starting mid-November. The exact amount of the price hike for each device is not available yet.
