Airtel has signed a global arrangement with Opera Software to offer customized and co-branded version of Opera Mini browser for Airtel mobile customers in India. The Co-branded version of Opera Mini for Vodafone was launched last year and Idea launched it earlier this February. Opera Software has agreements with 13 out of the top 30 operators globally.
This would let the Airtel customers browse the Internet better and faster, and it also comes with customized Speed Dial shortcuts for easy access to unique Idea features. It works on both 2/2.5G and 3G networks. The Opera Mini compresses the data by up to 90% so that you can save time and money and the Opera Mini 7 has social features, page sharing and more.
