HTC announced the Desire X few hours ago, and the online retailer Clove UK has announced that they are now taking pre-orders for the device. It comes with a 4.0-inch (800 X 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and is powered by 1 GHz Dual-core processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and has a 5MP auto focus camera at the back with LED Flash, but it records videos only at WVGA resolution, and not at 720p HD resolution.
It has a 768 MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and expandable memory with microSD card slot. The connectivity features include, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and aGPS. It comes with a 1650 mAh battery and has built-in Beats Audio support.
The HTC Desire X comes in Black, and White colors and is now available for pre-order from Clove UK for 190 GBP (~US$300) (228 GBP including VAT). The release date is not confirmed yet, but it is expected in September.
