Karbonn has officially launched A18, their new Dual SIM smartphone running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It went on sale on Flipkart last week. It has a 4.3-inch (480 x 800 pixels) IPS Capacitive Multi Touch display and is powered by 1 GHz processor. It has a 5MP Auto Focus Camera with LED flash and features such as Face detection and Burst Mode. It also comes with a 1.3 MP front-facing camera for video calling.
Other features include, 3.5mm headphone jack, Dual SIM capabilities (SIM 1 supports 3G (HSDPA 7.2Mbps) and SIM 2 supports 2G), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and GPS. It has 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory and expandable memory up to 32GB with micro SD. It comes with a 1500 mAh battery that would offer up to 5 hours talk time and 200 hours standby.
It has Google Apps and pre-load apps like Facebook, Whatsapp, Karbonn Smart Browser, King Soft Office, NexGTv and PayTM.
The Karbonn A18 is priced at an MRP of Rs.12,990, but it is already available online for as low as Rs. 9,790.
