LG is yet to launch the Optimus Vu globally, but the specs for the Optimus Vu 2 has surfaced on a Korean blog Bad IT Tong. The LG Optimus Vu 2 would retain the same 5-inch (1,024 x 768 pixels) IPS display with 4:3 Aspect Ratio but it would have a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 processor instead of a Snapdragon Scorpion processor. It would have 2GB of RAM instead of the 1GB RAM in the Vu and would come with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). There is a hardware button below the display unlike the capacitive touch buttons in the Vu.
It would have a 8MP auto focus camera with BSI sensor for better low-light photography and an LED Flash. It would have 16GB Internal Memory with expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD.
Other features are similar including a 1.3 Megapixel Front Facing Camera, LTE, 3G, HDMI via MHL, Bluetooth, WiFi, DLNA and Wi-Fi Direct. It would come with a 2,150 mAh battery instead of 2080 mAh in the Vu.
LG launched the Optimus Vu in Korea in March and announed last month that it would be available internationally with quad-core Tegra 3 processor instead of Snapdragon processor and LTE support.
