A few days back, we came to know of Nokia India’s special Diwali offer that offered a free headset with every Lumia purchase. The Lumia 800 offer was particularly juicy, with a free Monster Purity in-ear headset worth Rs. 5,110/- bundled in. But it was more inviting when we came to know of the newly reduced prices for the Lumia 800. So, we went ahead and bought one to see what the pack was all about. And hence, we bring you the unboxing of the special Diwali pack, just so that you can get an idea of what you get.
The special Diwali pack comes in a colorful gift box that resembles a firecracker box or something very similar to that. Basically, the offer is that you will get a free headset with your purchase of a Nokia Lumia, and each model of the Lumia carries its own bundled headset in that special box.
And right now, we have the Lumia 800, which comes with the wired in ear Nokia Monster Purity headset, which retails at Rs. 5100/- across all the Nokia Priority dealers in India.
The Lumia 800 Special Diwali pack cost us approximately Rs.19,500/- at a local Nokia priority dealer, and it is available for order at the Nokia online store too. It costs Rs.19,999/- at the online store but you get all the colors in stock there, unlike locally, we were able to acquire only the black version, with the retailer tipping us that the only colored Lumia 800 available right now is the magenta one, and that too, is in very very small numbers. We were trying really hard for a white one, but to no avail. Not even the Cyan version seems to be available anywhere.
But we did manage to secure the cyan version of the Monster Purity headset that was bundled with the Lumia 800. Also, another important thing to note is, there is a parallel promotion(that ends on the 27th of this month) running for the Lumia 800 alone and that is the play 360 offer in which if you are lucky enough to get a promotional 360 offer from Nokia, you’ll be able to acquire that free gift too, but it seems that it requires either a promo SMS or an e-mail to validate that offer. With only two days left, if you had, by any chance got the play360 promotion through mail or SMS, do get it as a gift asap!
This Diwali special offer from Nokia India is valid only till the 20th of November, so if you are looking out for a Nokia Lumia that provides extreme value, the Lumia 800 looks like a great choice!
