Nokia has launched the Asha 309 in India. They have also launched the Asha 308 Dual SIM phone officially in India, that went on sale in India last week. Both these phones were announced last month and comes with a 3.0-inch (240 x 400 pixels) scratch-resistant capacitive touch display and runs on Nokia Asha OS with Swipe Interface.
The Nokia Asha 309 has a 2MP camera at the back and has FM Radio with recording, GPRS/EDGE, WLAN 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, 3.5 mm audio jack, USB charging and a 1110 mAh battery.
Both these phones come with 40 Free EA games such as Tetris, Bejeweled, Need for Speed The Run and Fifa 2012 and has pre-loaded Facebook and twitter social apps, Nokia Messaging Service, and video streaming through the browser from sites like YouTube. These also have Nokia Nearby web app with 7 million places of interest and Nokia new Xpress Browser that reduces data consumption by up to 90%.
The Nokia Asha 308 is already available from Nokia Store for Rs. 5685 (MRP Rs. 6149), while the Nokia Asha 309 is priced at Rs. 6349 (MRP) and would be available soon. These come in Black and Golden Light colors.
