Here is a comparison between the Galaxy Note 2 and the Galaxy S3. The Galaxy S3 was launched was launched in India in May and comes with a 4.8 inch (720 x 1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display and a 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Exynos processor. Both these phones have a similar design and Nature UX. The Note 2 runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), while the Galaxy S3 runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with Jelly Bean update expected to roll out in India very soon .

Both the phones have plastic back cover and has removable batteries. These also have a 8MP auto focus camera with LED flash at the back and a 1.9MP front-facing camera. The Galaxy Note 2 comes with a 2GB RAM and a powerful 3,100mAh battery, while the Galaxy S3 has 1GB RAM and 2,100 mAh battery.
