Samsung has announced that they have sold over 5 million units of Galaxy Note 2 globally. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note II at IFA in August and launched it in South Korea and India at the end of September. It took just 2 months for the Note 2 to achieve this feat, compared to 5 months for the first Note. It crossed 3 million units at the end of last month. The sales are strong globally including South Korea, China, Asia, Europe, North America, Latin America, Middle East and Africa.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II, successor of the Galaxy Note, packs in a 5.5-inch (1,280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display, 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8MP auto focus camera with LED flash at the back and a 1.9MP front-facing camera. It comes with an improved S Pen and new features including Air View, Popup Note multi-window and more. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 64GB with microSD and 3,100mAh battery.
