LG’s high-end five million pixel camera phone with a 3-inch wide touch screen, Viewty (Model: LG-KU990) is all set to make its debut in Asia starting in November.
The first Asian Nations where it will make its presence felt is Hong Kong and Singapore. It will make its Koran debut in mid December. India will follow suit, optimistically by early 2008, although there no reports confirming the same.
The handset has received a tremendous response from buyers in Europe encouraging LG to launch the model in parts of Asia as well as Africa.
The handset represents LG Mobile’s new feature-oriented category, and combines ultimate functionality with sensational style as has been proved by LG with the Chocolate and Shine series. A camera phone that is bound to make the mobile digital experience enriching for the user with a 5.1 megapixel camera, it also introduces the world’s first 120 fps video recording feature in a mobile camera phone.
At 550 Euros (Rs 32,000), the handset targets the high end user. With its exceptional features and camera specifications, it is not difficult to see why it aims to tap that segment of the market.
