Samsung has confirmed that they would launch the Galaxy Grand launch in India tomorrow, January 22nd 2013. The company has started a new contest that would let you stand a chance to win the phone, and the winners would be announced at the event. The Samsung Galaxy Grand was announced last month, that packs a 5-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).
Other features include, 8MP Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash, 1080p video recording and 2MP secondary camera, 1GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory and expandable up to 64GB with microSD.
The connectivity features include 3G (HSDPA: 21 Mbps, HSUPA: 5.76Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v 4.0, GPS/GLONASS and NFC. It has a 2100 mAh battery.
We are not sure whether Samsung plans to launch the Grand Duos, dual-SIM version that was announced along with the Galaxy Grand. We will bring you more details from the launch event tomorrow.
