Lenovo IdeaPhone A800 hands-on

Lenovo unveiled the IdeaPhone A800 along with the range of Android smartphones at CES 2013, and we got some hands-on time with the entry-level music phone at the show. It has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS display, powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with custom Lenovo UI on top. It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby. It has SmartMusic technology and SRS support for enhanced audio output.

It has a 5MP auto focus camera at the back with LED Flash. It has 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory and 32GB expandable memory and comes with the usual connectivity options. It has a decent 2000 mAh battery. Even though the build quality of the phone is average, the $200 price tag for a dual SIM phone with dual-core processor running ICS is impressive.

The Lenovo IdeaPhone A800 comes in Deep Black and Ivory White colors. It is expected to go on sale in China this month.
