Samsung launched range of java-based feature phones in the REX series, the REX 60, REX 70, REX 80 and the REX 90 in India today. We got some hands on time with the REX 90, the top end model in the series. We brought you the REX 90 photo gallery earlier today, here is the video. It packs a 3.5-inch (480×320 pixels) HVGA 256k color capacitive touch screen display and has a Touchwiz interface with 7 customizable home screens. It is priced at Rs. 6,490. This has 2G EDGE support, Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity similar to the REX 80.

The phone has a chrome finish around the home button and the sides. There is a 3.2 megapixel camera at the back. It comes with MyService that would let you enjoy movies, live TV channels and concerts. It has FM Radio with RDS.
It has Dual SIM support with Smart Dual SIM feature lets you receive calls from SIM 1 even when the SIM 2 is in use. It also features True Hot Swap feature that would let you swap SIM cards without switching the device off. It has a expandable memory card slot that would let you expand the memory up to 32GB .
It comes with 10 Gameloft games bundled with the phone, and comes pre-loaded with Opera Mini browser, ChatON cross-platform messaging app, Facebook and Twitter apps. It has a 1000 mAh battery that would offer up to 15 hours of talk time.
