Chrome Beta for Android updated with data compression, password and autofill Sync

Google has updated the Chrome Beta browser app to version 26.0.1410.26 that brings new features including Password and Autofill Sync that lets you sync data from the Chrome browser on your desktop to your Android smartphones and tablets. The Password sync would let you sync passwords easily, and the autofill option lets you fill out forms on a small screen. This version also brings experimental data compression feature based on SPDY proxy running on Google servers. The Google Chrome compression feature was rumored earlier this week. Google released Chrome Beta channel for Android earlier this year.

Autofill Sync is now available for all, but the Password Sync would be rolled out in coming days. Password sync would only sync with Chrome desktop version 26 or higher. You can manage the sync preference in the settings in the Chrome browser and enable the data compression from chrome://flags/ . This version also brings several stability and performance fixes.
