Xolo X1000 Photo Gallery

Xolo launched the X1000 earlier today. We got some hands-on time with the device. This is the third device in the Xolo range powered by an Intel processor. Xolo launched the X900, the company’s first phone powered by an Intel Medfield Z2460 processor in India in May 2012. The Xolo X500, a budget phone powered Intel’s 1.2 GHz Atom Lexington Z2420 processor was launched earlier this year.

The design of the phone is similar to the Nexus 4 with curved edges. There is a 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) capacitive touch screen 2.5 D Edge-to-edge curved glass display at 312 ppi.

The Xolo X900 had sharp edges. The display in the X1000 is of course better than the X900, but the screen is glossy, hence it is a fingerprint magnet.

It has a 1.3 MP front-facing, which is similar to the X900.

This has on-screen touch buttons instead of capacitive touch buttons.

It runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, which seem more polished than the ICS on Xolo X900. Lava has promised the Jelly Bean update for the X1000, which is expected in couple of months.

It is powered by 2 GHz Intel Atom Z2480 processor with a 400 MHz PowerVR SGX540 GPU.

There is a 8 MP rear camera with LED Flash. It is capable of recording 1080p Full HD videos. There is also a secondary microphone next to the metal strip.

There is an Intel logo on the back. The back is sealed so that you cannot remove the 1900 mAh battery underneath. There is a speaker below the display and a lock which you use to release the bottom part of the device.

There is a microphone and a micro USB slot on the bottom.

You can press the lock on the back to remove the shiny metal bottom.

There are trays for normal SIM card and a memory card next to the micro USB slot. It has 1GB  of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory.

There is a volume rocker on the left. There is nothing on the right side. Is is 9.1mm thick.

The 3.5mm audio jack and power button are present at the top.

The Xolo X1000 is priced at Rs. 19,999. We will have a Xolo X1000 hands-on video and Benchmarks of the device soon, till then check out the entire photo gallery below.
