Microsoft has updated the Skype app for Windows Phone 8 to version 2.4 that brings several new features including support for 720p HD video calls on high-end devices. The app intelligently determines the best quality based on the device and the connection. This update also brings landscape mode for video calls, option to switch between either cameras during a call and lots more. The first preview version of Skype for Windows Phone 8 was released back in November last year.
