Samsung Galaxy Note Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update now rolling out in India

Samsung has finally started rolling out Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) update for the Galaxy Note users in India. The Samsung Galaxy Note got the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean last month starting from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Germany. Samsung confirmed back in December that the Galaxy Note would get the multi-screen / multi-window feature in the Android 4.1 update.

The Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy Note brings faster performance with project butter, Multi-Window, Page Buddy, customizable Notification Panel, Smart Rotation,  new keyboard with gesture typing like the Android 4.2, Direct Call, Smart Stay and Pop-up Play, new Widgets, Google Now and more.

The Android 4.1.2 update for the Galaxy Note OTA (Over the Air) and also via Samsung Kies. You can check for the update manually from the Settings, About, Software update. We didn’t get update over-the-air, but we updated our device through Samsung Kies successfully.
