Droid Life and Android Police have got hold of the upcoming Google Play version 4.0. This would bring a complete redesign to the app with Holo-inspired user interface, new fonts, bigger images and lots more. The individual content stores such as Music, Movies & TV, Books, Apps also have a different layout with eye-catching colours.
The apps section has Editors’ Choice and Staff Pick buttons just above the category list. The Staff Picks has a normal layout, but the Editor’s Choice has a single card look. There are Google Now-like container for the items. The My Apps section shows the Update button even if there’s a single app to update. Update over Wi-Fi is now present in the Auto-update apps option.
