Quickoffice for Android and iOS now available for Google Apps for Business users

Back in June 2012, Google had acquired Quickoffice to strengthen its mobile productivity suite offerings. The company has now rolled out the application to Google Apps for Business customers. The application has already been available on the iPad but now Google and iPhone users too can edit Microsoft Office files using the application on their devices.

The app can edit Word, Excel and Powerpoint files and save them back to Google Drive. The application itself gains support for Google Drive and lets you access files saved in the cloud and to also store and share from Google Drive. The application is available for iOS users from the App Store via this link. Users of Android devices can get the application from the Play Store. The application should further help adoption of Google’s cloud services for business users.
