Nokia Lumia 520 Unboxing

Nokia announced its new entry level smartphone, the Lumia 520, at Mobile World Congress where we spent some time with it. We’ve finally got our hands on a review unit of the same. While we put it through its paces, here’s a quick unboxing and hardware walkthrough for your perusal.

The packaging of the Lumia 520 is very similar to that of other Windows Phone devices by Nokia. The Windows Phone 8 running handset retails in a range of colors. Here’s a video unboxing :

The contents of the package include the following :

The Lumia 520 is an entry level model with a 4 inch IPS display and a resolution of 800 x 480. The processor is a powered by the dual core Qualcomm MSM8227 processor clocked at 1Ghz and has 512MB of RAM which is definitely on the lesser side. A 5MP camera is located at the back but there is no LED flash. The phone also lacks a front facing camera. Built in storage is 8GB and can be further expanded via the microSD slot.
