Acer Liquid E2 with 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.1 announced

Acer has announced the Liquid E2, successor of the Liquid E1 that was released earlier this year. It has a 4.5-inch (960 × 540 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) similar to the Liquid E1, but it is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor. It has a 8MP auto focus camera at the back with LED flash, 1080p HD video recording and  can capture 8 pictures per second in burst mode. It also has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It also features dual speakers and DTS digital audio support for enhanced audio output. It also has dual SIM variant, Acer Liquid E2 Duo that would be available in select markets.

The Acer Liquid E2 comes in Rock Black and Classic White colors and is be priced at 229 Euro s(~US$300). It would go on sale in Belgium, the Netherlands, Ukraine and France followed by Spain, UK, Italy, Germany and Russia starting from mid-May.
