Details of the Sony’s flagship phones codenamed Honami and Togari have surfaced. Sony’s upcoming flagship phone Honami is expected to have a 5-inch 1080p display similar to the Xperia Z, but the main highlight of the phone would be the phone’s 16MP or a 20MP Cyber-shot CMOS sensor with Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash and a dual LED flash. It is also expected to have a Triluminos display that would offer vibrant colors according to VR-Zone and feature a dedicated Walkman audio chip for enhanced audio.
It might be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz and Adreno 330 GPU, and have 2GB of RAM. It is expect to pack a battery capacity of 2700mAh to 3000mAh capacity. The Honami is expected to launch in China in July and launch globally in August or September (IFA ?). Samsung is also expected to announce the Note 3 at IFA.
The Togari was rumored with a 6.4-inch 1080p display, that would head to NTT DoCoMo in Japan. More details have surfaced that reveals that the phone would have a similar design as the Xperia Z with a glass back and thin a frame. It is expected to launch in Japan on NTT DoCoMo in July.
