The Nokia Lumia 928 was unofficially confirmed on the official site yesterday, and most details have been leaked out about this device which is expected to launch on the 15th of May. Nokia have gone ahead one more step and have released a video comparison teaser boasting of the OIS capable 8.7 MP PureView camera on the Lumia 928, which is known to sport a Xenon flash in addition to LED. The video comparison is between the Nokia Lumia 928, the Samsung Galaxy S III and the Apple iPhone 5 titled “New Nokia Lumia with PureView takes on “The Hurricane””. Here is the video footage comparison video –

The Lumia 928, clearly an evolution of the Lumia 920 is supposedly going to launch on Verizon, as an exclusive, and at the same time globally too, if the rumours are to be believed. But what is left to hide? Almost every detail regarding the Lumia 928 has been leaked and mostly confirmed by Nokia themselves. So, is Nokia going to have a few more surprises at the launch event? We certainly hope so, and oh yes, we hope that there are more Lumias at the event, including the famed Aluminium catwalk device or perhaps the Nokia EOS 41 MP device.

With device shots and more, Nokia has almost announced the device but the question still remains, as to when they will officially acknowledge its presence as more than just a “New Nokia Lumia”. One might argue that they already did, with the URL stating it plainly as “Lumia 928” but hey it’s not official until they say so. Lets keep on waiting then, for an underwhelming launch of this device unless there are other features that we don’t know of.
