HP has announced the SlateBook x2 the company’s new tablet with support for a keyboard dock similar to the Asus Transformer series. The SlateBook X2 has a 10.1-inch (1920 by 1200 pixels) IPS display, powered by a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a full-sized detachable keyboard dock with a touch pad. The Keyboard has a full HDMI port, USB 2.0, an SD slot, and an audio port. It also has a battery that would let you charge the battery inside the tablet.qua
It has DTS Sound + Solution for immersive audio experience and HP’s exclusive native printing capability that would let you print directly from most applications. It comes pre-loaded with Kingsoft Office for editing office files.
The HP Slate Book x2 would be available in the U.S. this August starting at $479.99 (~Rs. 26,350). It is not clear whether HP would launch the tablet outside U.S. This is definitely a decent price for an Android tablet with a keyboard dock.
