Sony Xperia L, a mid-range Android smartphone in the Xperia series went on sale in India earlier this month. We brought you the unboxing of the device earlier this week. Here we have benchmarks of the device. It has a 4.3-inch (854 x 480 pixels) Scratch-resistant capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8930 CPU with Adreno 305 GPU and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean). In the Xperia L White Paper on the Sony’s website it is mentioned as MSM8230.

The Xperia L scores 4363 points in the Quadrant benchmark.
AnTuTu Benchmark 3.3
It scores 9543 points in the AnTuTu benchmark 3.3, beating most of the dual-core smartphones.

It clocks 60 fps in the Nenamark GPU benchmark.

It clocked 12 fps in the GLBenchmark T-REX GPU benchmark.
GLBenchmark 2.5 Egypt HD (On screen)
The Xperia L clock 28 fps and tops the GLBenchmark 2.5 Egypt GPU benchmark.

Basemark X HD (Offscreen)
It tops both the Basemark X onscreen and offscreen tests.
