The stage is set on September 2-3 for Nokia World 2009 which is one of the biggest mobile events of the year.FoneArena is proud to present to you Live Coverage of Nokia World 2009. We are really excited to be at Stuttgart , Germany for the Event – thanks a ton to Nokia India and Rita for making this possible. While we are really thrilled about the new product launches and announcements, we also get a chance to meet people behind the scenes face to face . I just spoke to a Nokia person and I learnt that almost a third of Nokia’s product / services team would be at Nokia World and also there are going to be more product and service launches on Sep 2nd and 3rd – so let the 12 MP Camera phone and N97 mini rumourskeep coming .
Nokia have started the announcement of devices even before the Nokia World which gives us a feeling that something big is in store for us.
The announcements include the Nokia Booklet 3G which is Nokia’s first attempt to enter thenetbook/portable laptop market. The Nokia Booklet 3G is a 10inch Intel Atom powered netbookweighing just 1.25kg and promises a battery life of 12 hrs. The Netbook also runs on the latest Microsoft release ie the Windows 7.
It is quite a feature packed net book and looks to be successful if the price also falls right.
Next on the line is the Nokia N900 Internet Tablet which is the successor to the Nokia N800 and N810 Internet Tablets. The device has features matching or even better than the Nokia N97 which is the company current flagship. The N900 differs from other Internet Tablets as it can be used as a GSM phone also.
The two devices that have been announced are in no way small or even mid-range devices. Thus Nokia wouldn’t have made the move to announce both the devices if there weren’t better devices on their way to Nokia World.
Rumours have been floating around about the new range of Nokia products including the X Series and C Series. It is unclear what is in-store for us. But it is believed that the focus of the company will be the announcement of touch-screen phones of various types and price categories.
Much is expected from Nokia World. The event is just a day away and we hope that Nokia wont let us down and we are hoping to see some revolutionary products being announced.
