After launching Chrome 27 for the desktop and then for Android, Google has gone ahead, like promised, and launched the Chrome 27 for iOS. The new version adds an improved version of voice search, with a persistent bar for immediate access and faster page reloads by efficient use of the cache. The update is live on the app store and you can get it here.
It’s not so long since Google has been demoing the new conversational search in Android as well as the desktop versions of Chrome. While the conversational search is already present in Google Now for both iOS and Android, it has now found its way into the widely used Chrome browser which will make it easier to do a quick search than open a separate app instead. For accessing the voice search function, one needs to just tap on the omnibox voice search button and you are good to go.
