Lenovo today introduced its flagship smartphone, the Intel CloverTrail+ powered Lenovo K900, in India. Show off earlier at CES, the phone has a mammoth 5.5inch Full HD display that is covered by a Gorilla Glass 2 panel. Under the hood is a 2Ghz dual core Intel Atom Z2580 processor. During our brief time with the phone we felt that this processor was more than capable of keeping everything running smooth. The processor is also equipped with Hyper Threading that boosts performance when needed. The operating system of choice is Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Over at the back you can spot a 13MP camera with Sony’s Exmor BSI sensor. A dual LED flash is located right next to the camera module. The camera should do well in low light thanks to the F1.8 lens. The front facing camera too has a 88 degree viewing angle and has a 2MP sensor which is sufficient for the occasional portrait shots. We were quite impressed by the brushed aluminum build of the handset and while it is too soon to pass judgement, we do feel that the handset is quite a compelling offering by Lenovo. The phone has been priced at Rs. 32,999 in India. Stay tuned for a full review of the Lenovo K900 powered by the Intel CloverTrail chipset soon.
