Samsung has previously announced that it’ll hold an event in London to launch a range of new products. Of these, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active has already been revealed. The second product, the S 4 Zoom, has just shown up in a range of leaked press images
The images suggest a design that is very similar to the Galaxy Camera with prominent focus on a large camera key. The rear of the device has a massive bulge under which lies the optical zoom assembly. Rumored specifications suggest that optics equivalent to 10x zoom will find their way in the camera alongside a 16MP sensor.We’re not yet sure if the camera will employ a Xenon flash or will stick to the standard LED flash. Internally the phone is expected to be powered by a 1.6Ghz dual core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. The latter will be expandable thanks to the microSD card slot. The specifications are said to be near identical to the Galaxy S4 Mini which means that we should expect a 4.3″ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 960×540. The battery unit is believed to be rated at 1900 mAh which would be a bit disappointing considering the photography ambitions of the handset. Does the Samsung Galaxy S 4 Zoom excite you ?
