Nokia has announced that the Lumia 925 would go on sale starting today in Germany. It was announced last month. It has a 4.5 inch (1280×768 pixel) AMOLED display and an aluminium frame that makes the phone thinner and lighter. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 8.7MP auto focus camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), dual LED flash and 1080p HD video recording at 30fps. It has 6 element lens and supports upto 3200 ISO. It has the Smart Camera that offers lot of new features.
Nokia has also released the Nokia Glance Screen beta, a standby screen clock that would come pre-loaded on the Lumia 925. It lets you view the time and battery level indicator on the screen without a touch of a button. You can double tap on the standby screen to wake the phone up, that makes it easier to unlock. It also also be turned off from the settings. Nokia promises that the final version of the Glance Screen would be available to most of the Windows Phone 8 powered Lumia smartphones in the upcoming Lumia Amber software update.
The Nokia Lumia 925 would roll out in other European markets, China, U.S. and other countries soon. Check out our Lumia 925 Photo Gallery and Hands-on.
