Sony Xperia ZU screenshots surface

Screenshots of the upcoming Xperia ZU phablet has surfaced on XDA forum that reveals the home screen and app drawer with small icons. Even though the specifications of the device surfaced last week, the new screenshots confirm that the device would indeed come with a 6.4-inch 1080p display and powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor.

In this screenshot the board is mentioned as MSM8974 (Snapdragon 800) with Adreno 330 GPU is revealed and the Android version is 4.2.2.

The display is 1080p with 342ppi so the display size could be calculated as 6.4-inches. It also reveals the 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. You can see According to the earlier rumors, the Xperia ZU would come with super sensitive screen with Triluminos with X-Reality Mobile display, 8MP Primary Camera with Exmos RS sensor, up to 64GB expandable memory via microSD card, NFC, Wi-Fi and Miracast support for connectivity and a 3000mAh battery.

The name of the device is not confirmed yet. We have to wait for one more week for Sony’s event in Germany where the phone is expected to be unveiled.
