Amazon India marketplace, Amazon.in that was launched earlier this month with just 2 categories books and movies has now expanded to Mobiles and Accessories, Tablets, Cameras and Photography, and Portable Media Players. The company says that they have over 20,000 electronics products from over 200 leading brands. Amazon introduced Kindle family of E-readers, ebooks and Kindle Fire tablets couple of weeks back.
The mobile phones and accessories from leading brands including, Nokia, HTC, Micromax, Blackberry, Samsung, Sennheiser and more are now available from Amazon India marketplace. It has over 150 Electronics retailers including Croma, Vijay Sales, UniverCell, Saholic, and J.J. Mehta & Sons with Fulfillment by Amazon option that offers Cash on Delivery, delivery tracking to the doorstep, free returns pickup and free home deliver ( limited period).
As an introductory offer Amazon offers 10% discount on select mobile phones. The discount amount applied at checkout and is limited to one unit per customer. The final amount after discount will be reflected at the checkout page. It also offers 15% discount on digital cameras.
The Kindle Fire HD and Fire HD 8.9″ tablets and the Kindle Paperwhite that were launched recently would be available starting June 27 on Amazon.in.
