Sony Xperia C with 5-inch display, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.2 announced

Sony Mobile has also announced the Xperia C, a mid-range device in the Xperia series. It has a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, Exmor R sensor and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It is capable of recording 1080p HD videos. It has a LED notification light below the display and has dual SIM support with dual standby.

The Sony Xperia C comes in Black, White and Purple colors and would go on sale globally in Q3 2013. No word on pricing yet.
