Well known source of pre release information, Evleaks, has struck gold once again with a leaked press render of the Nokia Lumia 1020 heading to AT&T. The image suggests a subtle enhancement to the design formula pioneered by the Lumia 920. A very interesting addition that can be spotted is the oft rumored Nokia Pro Cam application that will hopefully provide advanced control over the handset’s rumored 41 megapixel sensor.
While the twitter account only leaked out the front fascia of the device, previously leaked images suggest that the handset will have a fairly large protrusion at the back. Expect to see a Xenon flash as well for superior low light photography. The handset is expected to have technology similar to and perhaps more advanced than the one seen in the Nokia PureView 808. While there is no confirmation around this, we might even see the optical image stabilization assembly from the Lumia 920 make an appearance here. Nokia is scheduled to hold an event in New York on 11th July where it is widely believed that the company will introduce the Lumia 1020 or the EOS as it is popularly known as. We’ll have more for you as and when we find out.
