LG launched the Optimus G Pro in India yesterday at a price tag of Rs. 42,500 (MRP). We got hold of the device to run some benchmarks. The device has a 5.5 inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz with Adreno 320 GPU clocked at 400 MHz and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The phone has 2GB of RAM. It out performs all the current quad-core smartphones in all the benchmarks. The grabs the top 5 spot in few benchmarks.
Quadrant Benchmark
The G Pro managed to score 12118 points in the Quadrant benchmark and grabs the 4th spot, just behind the HTC One.
AnTuTu Benchmark 3.3
In the AnTuTu Benchmark 3.3 the phone managed to score just around 19k and lies in the bottom in the chart.
Vellamo 2.0 (HTML5)
The G Pro tops the Vellamo 2 HTML5 Browser benchmark.
Vellamo 2.0 (Metal)
Even though the phone tops the Vellamo HTML5 benchmark, it could not do well in the Metal, CPU subsystem performance test.
SunSpider JavaScript Benchmark
It clocks just under 1000 ms which is almost similar the Snapdragon-powered S4.
Linpack – Single Thread
In the Linpack Single thread benchmark the phone is just behind the HTC One.
Linpack – Multi-Thread
The phone tops the Linpack Multi-thread benchmark beating bot hthe HTC One and the S4.
NenaMark 2
It clocks 59.9 fps in the Nenamark 2 GPU benchmark.
GFXBenchmark 2.7 T-Rex (On screen)
It managed to clock 11 fps in the GFXBenchmark 2.7 T-Rex GPU benchmark.
GFXBenchmark 2.5 Egypt HD (On screen)
It clocked just 28 fps in the GFXBenchmark 2.5 Egypt GPU benchmark. This might be due to the large 5.5-inch display.

Basemark X (Off-screen)
The Basemark X scores were around 6 in both the OnScreen and Offscreen benchmarks. Overall the phone’s performance is average in the synthetic benchmark tests. We will bring you the complete review of the phone soon.
