Spice launched the Coolpad Mi-515 few weeks back. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. It has a 5-inch qHD (960 × 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589M processor with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU similar to the Xolo Q700. It runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Let’s see how the device performs in various benchmark tests.
Quadrant Benchmark
Since the phone uses the same MediaTek chip, the scores are similar to the Xolo Q700 in the Quadrant benchmark.
AnTuTu Benchmark 3.3
The AnTuTu Benchmark 3.3 scores are also almost similar to the Q700.
Linpack – Single Thread
It manages to score 36.64 points in the Linpack single thread benchmark.
Linpack – Multi Thread
In the Linpack multi-thread the coolpad scores around 115 points.
Vellamo 2 HTML5
It scores 1360 points in the Vellamo 2 HTML5 browser benchmark.
Vellamo 2 Metal
It scores 449 points, better than the Q700 in the Vellamo 2 Metal CPU subsystem performance.
NenaMark 2
Since the phone has a 5-inch qHD display, it manages to clock 45 fps in the NenaMark GPU benchmark.
GFXBenchmark 2.5 Egypt HD (On screen)
In the GFXBEnchmark 2.5 Egypt (OnScreen) it manages to clock 11 fps.
Basemark X HD (Onscreen)
Basemark X HD (Offscreen)
Even though the phone clocks 5.5fps in the Basemark X onscreen benchmark, almost similar to Xolo Q700, it clocks around 1.9 in the Offscreen benchmark.
