HTC Butterfly S Benchmarks

HTC unveiled the Butterfly S, successor of the Butterfly in Taiwan last month. We brought you the photo gallery of the device earlier today. Now we have the benchmarks of the device.  The phone has a 5.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super LCD 3 display display and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 8064T processor clocked at 1.9 GHz with Adreno 320 GPU coupled with 2 GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) with HTC Sense 5.0. Let’s check out the performance of the smartphone when compared with other high-end Android devices.

Quadrant Benchmark

The HTC Butterfly S tops the Quadrant bechmark with 13304 points.

AnTuTu Benchmark 3.3

It manages to grabs the 3rd spot in the AnTuTu Benchmark 3.3 with few points more than the HTC One.

Vellamo 2.0 (HTML5)

The Butterfly tops the Vellamo 2 HTML5 browser benchmark.

Vellamo 2.0 (Metal)

The phone is just behind the S4 powered by Exynos Octa in the Vellamo 2 Metal that mesures the CPU subsystem performance.

SunSpider JavaScript Benchmark

It clocks just 711 in the SunSpider JavaScript Benchmark and grabs the 3rd spot.

Linpack – Single Thread

Linpack – Multi-Thread

Even though the phone scores around 288 points, it tops the Linpack multi-thread benchmark with over 700 points.

NenaMark 2

In the Nenamark 2 it clocks 59.1 fps.

GFXBenchmark 2.7 T-Rex (On screen)

It clocks 15 fps in the GFXBenchmark 2.7 T-Rex GPU benchmark.

GFXBenchmark 2.5 Egypt HD (On screen)

It clocks 41 fps and tops the GFXBenchmark 2.5 Egypt GPU benchmark.

Basemark X (Onscreen)

Basemark X (Offscreen)
