Foursquare, popular location-based check-in service has launched a new app for Nokia Series 40 (S40) devices including Asha devices. This would let the Nokia series 40 user to check-in to places easily, get awesome deals in the places around you, get recommendations for places to go to, and share your check-ins on Facebook and Twitter.
The Nokia S40 app has Friends tab, Search tab and Me tab. The friends tab shows the check-ins, Search tab lets you search for places nearby and the Me tab shows your profile and the stats. Foursquare has been constantly improving the apps on other mobile platforms. The Windows Phone 8 app got a big refresh including a new UI, features and more. The Foursquare app for Android and iPhone got updated recently with option to check in your friends when you check-in.
Download the new Foursquare app for Nokia Series 40 devices from the Nokia Store for free. The app would also come preloaded globally on range of new Asha devices in coming months.
